This role is a high-impact, revenue-generating position focused on originating small business loans and building scalable equipment finance and leasing channels. You will operate at the intersection of sales, credit, and strategic partnerships, driving growth through direct prospecting and the development of strong vendor ecosystems. The environment is entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and mission-driven, with a strong emphasis on serving underserved small business communities. You will play a key role in expanding access to capital while shaping long-term partner relationships that generate sustainable deal flow. Working closely with credit and underwriting teams, you will help structure transactions that balance risk and growth. This is a role for a self-starter who thrives on ownership, targets, and measurable outcomes. Your work will directly influence revenue expansion and market penetration.
- Drive small business loan origination efforts (up to $350K), with a strong focus on equipment financing, leasing, and term loans, ensuring consistent pipeline development and deal closure.
- Build and scale a vendor-driven finance channel by identifying, onboarding, and managing relationships with equipment vendors, dealers, manufacturers, and referral partners.
- Execute full-cycle deal management, including prospecting, credit pre-screening, structuring, pricing, negotiation, and closing while maintaining strong conversion rates.
- Develop and implement partner engagement strategies, including training, joint business planning, and ongoing performance optimization to maximize channel productivity.
- Collaborate closely with underwriting and credit teams to structure deals aligned with credit policy while ensuring speed and efficiency in approvals.
- Maintain strong client and partner relationships, ensuring high responsiveness, repeat business, and long-term portfolio growth.
- Track and optimize KPIs such as origination volume, pipeline velocity, partner productivity, and revenue contribution.
This role requires strong experience in small business lending, equipment finance, leasing, or commercial sales, with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding production targets. Candidates should have hands-on experience building and managing referral or vendor partner networks, along with strong credit acumen and the ability to structure transactions within defined risk frameworks. Success in fast-paced, quota-driven environments is essential, as is the ability to source and close deals in the $50K–$350K range. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are critical, along with a disciplined, self-driven approach to pipeline management. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required. Experience with SBA lending, CDFIs, or mission-driven financial institutions is a plus, as is prior exposure to equipment leasing or vendor finance programs.
