Pacific Coast Producers, growing agricultural cooperative with food production facilities across the West Coast, is seeking a talented and experienced Inventory Clerk to join our team at our Production Facility in Lodi, CA. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will be the heartbeat of our Lodi facility's logistics and inventory movement. This year-round role is vital for maintaining accuracy in our supply chain, supporting our seasonal operations, and ensuring our facility meets the highest standards of safety and quality. We are looking for a team player who is detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory at the Lodi Plant and our associated storage locations. This includes overseeing material inventory and the reconciliation of empty cans and ends.
  • Create transfer orders in our inventory system (JDE) and assist in allocating warehouse locations for high-volume items to ensure efficient product flow.
  • Act as the year-round shipping clerk for our Central Warehouse. You will receive carrier invoices, verify them against trucking logs and transfer documents, and submit them to corporate for timely payment.
  • Audit forklift drivers and product quality to ensure high standards. You will play a key role in preparing for facility audits (SQF) and general operational improvements.
  • Manage product reclassifications and holds for the Lodi Plant and storage facilities. During the busy "pack" season, you will reconcile daily production numbers to ensure they align with physical inventory.
  • Assist with damage prevention training for both the Production and Distribution teams. You will also help train new seasonal logistics staff and assist with yearly training for our represented (CBA) employees.
  • Create and receive Purchase Orders (POs) and manage the ordering of janitorial and facility supplies.

Education and Experience:

  • Previous experience in inventory control, shipping/receiving, or warehouse logistics.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, for data tracking and reporting.
  • Experience with ERP or inventory management software (such as JD Edwards) is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in both an office setting and on the production floor/warehouse environment.
  • Highly detail oriented and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary Range: $20-$23 per hour (based on experience). This is a full-time, on-site role based out of Lodi, CA.

The base salary range reflects the reasonable expectation for what the company anticipates paying for this role at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will depend on factors including, but not limited to:

  • Relevant skills, education, and experience
