Warehouse Clerk at DeSHAZO LLC – Bessemer, Alabama

Position: Warehouse Clerk

Location: Bessemer, AL

The Warehouse Clerk will oversee all aspects of the facilities shipping, receiving, and inventory management. This position will work to ensure proper item identification, organization, tagging, order fulfillment, order receiving, shipping, safety, and facility cleanliness. This position reports to the DeSHAZO National Parts Manager in Bessemer, AL.

DUTIES:

· Daily receiving and shipping activities.

· Maintain required inventory product records, manual pulls, transfers, packing slips, freight vendor BOL’s, etc.

· Ensure all items are properly pulled, packed, routed, and loaded in a safe and efficient manner.

· Enter BOL packing slips in company software to receive in material.

· Ensure all merchandise is received, counted, stored in an accurate and efficient manner.

· Present a clean, organized, and efficient facility at all times.

· Work with sales, purchasing, and service departments to resolve any shipping or receiving issues that arise.

· Help with inventory cycle counts and annual inventory count.

· Operate City Sales center for customer will call pick-ups and walk-in orders.

· Enter and process walk-in orders using company software.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school graduate or equivalent

· Warehouse Experience

· Excellent reading, writing, and communication skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Application and Typing

· Must be self-motivated

· Reliable, Organized, and Detail Oriented

· Must be able to Multi-Task

· Valid Driver’s License

· Clean Driving Record

· Forklift Certification

· Must be able to operate general warehouse equipment (power tools, pallet jack, etc…)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· This position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time on concrete floors, climbing, bending, and kneeling, and occasional lifting of heavy objects.
