You will lead the planning, design, implementation, and support of the specific and key business systems across the assigned business units. This role works closely with business leaders to understand operational needs and align technology solutions accordingly. Key platforms supported include Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics 365 Sales CRM, and the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse). The manager oversees system performance, user support, data governance, project delivery, vendor relationships, and team leadership to ensure business systems operate effectively and securely.
Responsibilities
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with business departments and leaders to understand the overall information management systems environment and ensure alignment between Business Unit and Corporate strategies. Prioritizes and executes agreed upon project plans and routinely communicates status of Business Unit projects
- Identifies solutions within the Microsoft Business Application suite (D365 CRM, Dynamics Business Central, PowerBI and Power Platform) required to support the business strategy across multiple business areas and regions and leads a team in the development of appropriate information management strategies, developing them as an integrated part of the business strategy
- Partners with business leaders to understand specific business processes, business drivers and business strategy across multiple business units and provides recommendations for business process improvements through available technologies and capabilities
- Leads and coaches cross-functional project teams to meet the expectations of the organization through project delivery, support and customer service. Builds a business analyst team focused on delivering high quality solutions. Fosters a culture of teamwork
- Defines success criteria and monitors system performance. Report on KPI’s that drive performance. Monitors critical business systems for performance and operations, ensuring systems are updated and maintained as required, including backup, storage and retrieval functions. Communicate key maintenance and upgrade requirements and determine costs and impacts on the organization
- Participates in the full-range of people-management responsibilities, including performance reviews, compensation recommendations, coaching and development, hiring recommendations, disciplinary actions

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Business Systems Management, Information Technology, or related field with exposure to various technical environments and business segments with specific experience in Dynamics CRM, Business Central and Power BI. 3+ years of management experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent education and experience
- Preferred certifications in one or more of the following: Microsoft Business Applications: Dynamics 365 CRM, Dynamics Business Central, Power BI and Power Platform
- Experience leading and managing teams
- Strong communication skills with key stakeholders at leadership levels of the organization
- Strong ability to balance competing requirements and interests in multiple ERP/CRM and business areas to keep team focused on top priorities, and find ways to achieve win-win or obtain acceptance/consensus for best compromise
- Proven ability to proactively identify improvement opportunities, develop innovative solutions, and initiate change
- Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams consisting of IT and Business members
- Excellent understanding of business complexity and project interdependence
- Excellent facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficient understanding of software development lifecycles (i.e. Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative)
- Excellent ability to create compelling business cases with accurate cost and effort estimations
