| Job Summary | The University of Kentucky, College of Nursing Undergraduate Program is seeking a Lecturer Title Series (tenure-ineligible) Lecturer. This position is a nine-month appointment (August 16th- May 15th) with an anticipated Distribution of Effort of about 90% Teaching and Advising, and 10% Professional Development/Service which will be reviewed annually. This position is an onsite position. We anticipate a start date of April 15, 2026, but no later than May 1, 2026. This posting will remain open until filled. This position, based in Lexington, KY, onsite, will assist and resource the Undergraduate and Graduate programs within the College of Nursing. This Lecturer position requires simulation lab instruction which includes developing content, coordinating with faculty and staff, teaching undergraduate and graduate students, and evaluating nursing content and nursing interventions to ensure the curriculum stays up to date. This position assists in all operations of the Clinical Simulation and Learning Center laboratory space and maintaining equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience using interactive and simulated technology. Preparation in teaching and learning principles for adult education preferred, including curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation. Successful teaching experience in clinical simulation with low and high-fidelity simulators is also preferred. The required education and experience include an earned Master’s Degree in Nursing. DNP or PhD in nursing preferred. An active unencumbered Kentucky license as a registered nurse and a minimum of 2 years BSN prepared nursing experience within the last 5 years is required.
