About the role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced IT System Consultant to join our dynamic team in Roseville to evaluate and enhance our existing ICT systems and ensure they continue to meet evolving business and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engaging with business stakeholders to elicit, validate and formally document detailed business requirements for ICT solutions.

• Undertaking systematic identification, investigation and analysis of existing business processes, procedures and operational work practices.

• Evaluating process and system inefficiencies and formulating recommendations for optimised business practices and enhanced system functionality and behaviour.

• Applying recognised project-management methodologies, principles and techniques to develop project plans and to scope, cost, resource and manage ICT projects.

• Assuming end-to-end responsibility for deploying functional system solutions, including designing, adopting and executing system test plans to ensure acceptable quality, performance and integrity of the system.

• Preparing comprehensive user and training documentation and delivering structured training sessions for internal and external users.

• Producing detailed functional specifications and acceptance criteria for use by software and system developers.

• Utilising data and process-modelling techniques and tools to generate clear, traceable system specifications to support the design and development of system software.

Skills and experience required:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a closely related field.

• At least 1-year recent, relevant experience as a Systems Analyst, ICT Business Analyst or similar role.

• Proven experience analysing business processes and ICT systems and implementing system changes or new solutions.

• Demonstrated ability to develop functional specifications and prepare and execute system test plans.

• Experience using modelling/diagramming tools (e.g. UML, BPMN or similar) to document processes and system designs.

• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in plain English.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and high attention to detail in documentation.

Employment Type: Full-time (38 hours per week)

The pay range for this role is:

95,000.00 - 120,000.00 AUD per year (Hybrid / Roseville, New South Wales, AU)
