You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure brand coherence while anticipating market trends and utilizing your knowledge of textiles and garment construction. • Lead Owned Brand Product Design and Development with direction from design leaders.
• Conduct product research and design to identify trends and market needs.
• Mentor Associate Designers and facilitate collaboration within the design team.
• Develop color stories and select fabrics, prints, trim, and graphics for product lines.
• Ensure product designs align with merchant line plans and overall creative direction.
• Collaborate with technical designers and sourcing partners to resolve product issues.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Design, Fine Art, or similar field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in product design and development.
• Proficient in computer design systems including Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Advanced understanding of textiles, garment construction/fit, and product production.
• Ability to research and apply market and trend information effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong team collaboration skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
