In this role, you will be the guardian of data integrity across the organization. Your mission is to ensure that every Euro flowing through the Core Banking System is accurately reflected in the ERP and financial reporting. You will lead the transformation from manual checks to a high-speed, automated control environment, serving as the critical interface between Data, Technology, and Finance.Accountabilities

• Design and oversee the reconciliation framework between the CBS, the ERP, and external reporting tools.
• Identify manual intervention points in the reconciliation flow and lead the implementation of automated matching engines and reconciliation software.
• Act as the primary liaison between Data Engineering and Finance to ensure that data pipelines are built with accounting logic and control requirements in mind.
• Assess the impact of new product launches on the control environment, designing accounting flows and control points for new features.
• Create and maintain 'best-in-class' documentation for all reconciliation processes, ensuring transparency, repeatability, and audit-proofing.
• Continuously review existing processes for compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Financial Control, Audit, or Finance Operations within the Banking or FinTech sector.
• Deep understanding of data movement from transactional layers to accounting layers, with knowledge of Workday and specialized reconciliation tools as an advantage.
• Comfortable with SQL, data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI), or ETL processes.
• Strong knowledge of Internal Control Systems and experience designing controls for complex financial products.
• Ability to identify root causes of discrepancies in processes or code and implement permanent solutions.
• A University degree in Finance, Business Informatics, or Accounting; professional certifications (CPA, CIA, or CISA) are a plus.
• Fluency in English is essential, with the ability to communicate complex technical data issues to senior stakeholders.
