Mortgage Sales Associate at HOUSEMAX FUNDING LLC – Austin, Texas

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Mortgage Sales Assistant to join one of our high-volume lending teams at our headquarters in Austin, TX. This role is ideal for someone with experience in loan processing or pre-processing who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding service to clients throughout the lending process.

Duties & Responsibilities :

Client Experience & Support

• Deliver a high-touch, concierge-level experience to borrowers from initial contact through loan funding
• Guide clients through the lending process with clear, timely communication and professional support
• Proactively identify and resolve borrower needs or potential issues

Sales & Business Development Support

• Assist with onboarding new clients and preparing pre-qualification packages
• Collaborate with the processing team to ensure smooth loan closings
• Support team business development efforts and contribute to client growth
• Represent HouseMax with professionalism to encourage repeat business and referrals

Client Relationship Management

• Maintain relationships with clients post-funding to promote repeat business and referral opportunities
• Keep CRM systems up to date with client communications and status updates
• Help refine and improve the overall client journey to ensure a positive experience

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in lending, mortgage, title, or high-touch customer service (private lending experience is a plus)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong attention to detail and commitment to follow-through

Self-starter with a proactive, ownership-oriented mindset

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
