Print Production Designer

We are hiring for a print production designer to join our creative team on a 6 month contract. You must have outstanding teamwork skills and flexibility adapting to different workflows and project requirements.

UVS Games has developed a wide range of products, including card games, board games, and figurines, based on iconic intellectual properties such as Street Fighter, Godzilla, Critical Role, Yu Yu Hakusho, and more. In this role, you will work closely with partners like Riot Games to help drive our production initiatives to the next level.

What you’ll do:

• Produce design deliverables within print, digital, and interactive spaces
• Create print ready files and build design templates
• Work closely with an Art Director to meet project goals
• Take projects home from concept stage into manufacturing deliverables
• Collaborate with team members to produce a wide variety of projects. Each day is a new challenge
• Help determine the best tools and techniques for hitting specific visual targets
• Bring a positive, helpful attitude, with a passion for design at the highest quality

What you’ll bring:

• Experience building a range of design deliverables, including print-ready assets
• A deep understanding of CMYK print/finishing processes & building files to spec
• Understanding of color management and prepress fundamentals
• Understanding of typography and layout best practices
• Holistic proficiency in Adobe creative tools (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• An eye for detail and creative excellence with a mind for efficiency
• Experience working with brand guidelines, style-guides and execution templates
• Excellent communication skills, open, clear, and highly collaborative
• Ability to perform under tight deadline pressure
• Bonus for any Figma, motion graphics, animation or video editing skills
