Job Description Summary

The Sr. National Account Manager will play a key role in driving growth for the GoGo squeeZ brand across Target and Publix. In close partnership with the Director of Sales – Strategic National Accounts, this position is responsible for building and nurturing strong relationships with both customers and internal cross-functional teams. The Sr. National Account Manager will identify, develop, and execute strategic business opportunities, ensuring all initiatives support the company’s financial goals and long-term growth. This role is central to accelerating brand performance and achieving sustained business success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Account & Business Development
    • Expand and grow existing business at Target and Publix by leveraging new and established relationships.
    • Manage assigned accounts to achieve sales, profit, and distribution objectives while ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction.
    • Assist the Sales Director in identifying key divisional growth opportunities and developing strategic plans.
  • Sales & Retailer Engagement
    • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and materials, collaborating with Marketing to engage retailers and key stakeholders.
    • Attend retailer functions and execute key customer presentations to support business objectives.
    • Implement Category Management best practices:
      • Use syndicated, internal, and customer data to provide external sales recommendations, suggest SKU rationalization, and identify emerging trends.
      • Build, update, and interpret weekly/monthly business metrics.
      • Partner with the Sales Director to develop and execute targeted planograms.
  • Analysis, Reporting & Strategic Planning
    • Monitor and report on distribution, retail pricing, and competitive activity, providing timely business insights and recommendations.
    • Analyze and act on syndicated and other available data sources to manage and grow the business.
    • Support the annual budget planning process and manage assigned financial budgets, including trade deduction oversight.
  • Trade & Supply Chain Management
    • Lead trade management efforts by driving efficiencies in promotional planning, conducting projections and analysis of trade investments, and managing budgets to optimize ROI and financial objectives.
    • Manage customer forecasts, inventory, and demand planning to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Category Management, Revenue Development, Marketing, Trade Marketing, Demand Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, Finance, and HR to drive business results.
    • Maintain timely, effective communication with internal and external partners.
  • General Support
    • Perform additional duties assigned to support business objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related area required.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ successful account management or sales experience in the CPG industry; food sales experience preferred.
  • Target account experience required.
  • Demonstrated passion for sales, with a proven ability to lead calls and successfully close deals.
  • Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional presentation and stakeholder influence skills.
  • Operates with integrity, models excellence, and exhibits maturity and sound business acumen.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with genuine enthusiasm for business growth.
  • Self-starter who is highly curious and thrives with minimal supervision.
  • Proven track record of meeting goals, exceeding sales plans, and growing business.
  • Excels in dynamic environments and communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing, building strong relationships quickly.

Working Conditions

Hours of work will generally be during regular business hours with at least 40 hours a week. At times there will be some variation in work hours due to special projects, deadlines and other concerns. Up to 25% business travel may be required.

Total Rewards

  • Base Salary: $160,000 - $175,000
  • Bonus Opportunity: 20%
