This role offers the opportunity to drive strategic growth and technical adoption within a key channel partner ecosystem. The Channel Account Manager will focus on developing and executing sales and technical strategies for data center infrastructure solutions, including UPS systems, power distribution, racks, and monitoring tools. You will collaborate closely with channel sales teams, solution architects, and field sellers to identify opportunities, perform technical discovery, and deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs. The position combines consultative sales, technical expertise, and market analysis to expand product adoption and strengthen partner relationships. It is ideal for professionals with a strong technical understanding of IT infrastructure and a track record of driving channel sales in complex environments. This role requires a proactive, customer-focused mindset and the ability to operate independently while coordinating across teams.
- Drive channel sales of power, data center infrastructure, and related IT solutions through strategic partner engagement
- Conduct technical discovery, including load requirements, redundancy planning, runtime analysis, and rack/power layout recommendations
- Partner with field sellers and solution architects to design, configure, and quote multi-component solutions such as UPS systems, racks, PDUs, and monitoring software
- Create and execute technical-focused marketing initiatives, workshops, and training sessions to highlight solution benefits
- Analyze market trends, competitive architectures, and adoption metrics to enhance positioning and identify high-growth opportunities
- Maintain accurate pipeline data and provide detailed reporting on sales performance, technical trends, and opportunity progression
- Foster strong partner and customer relationships through consultative selling and technical expertise
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in IT channel sales, technical account management, or datacenter infrastructure sales
- Strong technical knowledge of power systems, UPS sizing (single- and three-phase), rack integration, and PDU architecture
- Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and multi-product solutions in a channel environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of executing independently while collaborating across teams
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for partner meetings, workshops, and training sessions
