Description:

W-Industries is looking for a driven and forward-thinking Recruiter I who is ready to take an active role in shaping our hiring processes and supporting the growth of our workforce. This position offers the opportunity to move beyond coordination and contribute to full-cycle recruiting, candidate experience, and continuous improvement of our talent acquisition efforts.

JOB SUMMARY

The Recruiter I supports and executes full-cycle recruiting activities to attract, evaluate, and hire qualified candidates. This role partners with hiring managers and internal departments to understand workforce needs, maintain candidate pipelines, and improve recruiting processes. The position is responsible for both day-to-day recruiting execution and contributing to ongoing improvements in sourcing strategies, candidate experience, and hiring efficiency.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support and execute full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, role requirements, and timelines
  • Proactively source candidates using job boards, databases, referrals, and other recruiting tools
  • Screen and evaluate candidates to ensure alignment with job requirements and organizational needs
  • Coordinate and participate in interviews with hiring managers and stakeholders
  • Maintain and track candidate pipelines, providing regular updates to hiring teams
  • Support the offer process in collaboration with HR and hiring managers
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and hiring procedures
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal departments to improve recruiting communication and alignment
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting workflows, candidate experience, and time-to-fill
  • Assist in developing recruiting strategies for hard-to-fill or high-volume roles
  • May support participation in job fairs, recruiting events, and workforce initiatives
  • Maintain accurate recruiting data and generate reports as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Working knowledge of employment laws (e.g., EEO, background checks, I-9) and recruiting best practices, with the ability to apply them to ensure compliant and effective hiring processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence and collaborate across departments
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to evaluate candidates effectively and make sound recommendations
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to build relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders at various levels
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite

QUALITY/SAFETY/ PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.

Frequent use of phone and email communication.

Occasional lifting up to 15 lbs.


MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

1–3 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or related experience

Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems preferred; experience with Paylocity is a plus


PREFERRED EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred

SHRM Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential or similar is a plus
