Function/Duties of Position- Open the facility, using SOP processes to ensure work unit is ready for operation.
- Close the facility, using SOP processes to close and secure the facility.
- Greeting members by name, answer phone calls, operate POS, follow all SOP’s, knowledge and use of membership software, update center information and schedule appointments.
- Provide information and registration for membership, programs, events and classes.
- Execute superior customer service.
- Demonstrate knowledge, ability and implementation of all polices and procedure related to the Front Desk operations.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Enroll and process new members.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.

- Public contact training or experience which included exchange of information, goods, or money.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently, be flexible and meet deadlines.
Outstanding people skills.
Ability to project and promote a healthy image.
Great communicator with the ability to communicate to member and staff in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.
Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
BLS from AHA required. New hires will be enrolled and required to complete during orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School diploma.
One year of experience in public contact (such as public service representative, salesperson or receptionist).
- Prior experience in an upscale environment.
- Demonstrated success in member/customer satisfaction.
- Computer skills in Microsoft office applications, database and point of sale.
Additional Details
Days, evenings, weekends and holidays required. Shift times may vary, includes open or close shifts. Backup coverage for staff who are off.
