Pet Transportation Associate at Pender Pet Retreat – Chantilly, Virginia

About the Role:

As a Pet Transportation Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of pets to their desired locations. You will be expected to provide exceptional customer service to pet owners and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times. Your main goal will be to ensure that pets are transported in a comfortable and stress-free manner, while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Experience handling and transporting pets
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Ability to maintain a STA (Security Threat Assessment) clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in pet transportation or related field
• Experience working with a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, and small animals
• Knowledge of basic pet first aid and CPR
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Transport pets to and from designated locations in a safe and timely manner
• Ensure that pets are comfortable and stress-free during transportation
• Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners, addressing any concerns or questions they may have
• Maintain accurate records of pet transportation, including pick-up and drop-off times and locations
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while transporting pets

Finally, your physical strength and ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds will be necessary for transporting pets and their belongings.
