Construction Intern at KPRS Construction Services, Inc. – Brea, California

We are excited to offer a Construction Internship for students who are eager to gain real-world experience and learn more about the general contracting and construction industry. This internship is a great opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, support active projects, and develop valuable skills that will help launch your career in construction.

As a Construction Intern, you will assist different departments with daily tasks while learning the fundamentals of project management and jobsite operations. Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting the project team with overall project management activities such as scheduling, budgeting, billing and documentation, and account management

• Assisting estimators with various parts of the bid process

• Helping coordinate subcontractors and vendors

• Learning how construction projects are planned, managed, and executed from start to finish

This position will report to an assigned project team that will provide mentorship and guidance throughout the internship.

This role includes both office and jobsite exposure. Interns should be comfortable with:

• Desk and computer-based work

• Visiting job sites and walking 2–3 miles daily

• Climbing stairs, ladders, and scaffolding when needed

• Occasionally lifting up to 30 pounds

• Commuting to job sites as required
