Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Intern aims to support the Supply Chain department.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• none

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist in drafting and updating SOP Standard Operating Procedures.

• Assist in drafting and updating flowcharts of Supply Chain processes.

• Assist in identifying process gaps and process improvements.

• Help create reports and tools to track processes.

• May assist in drafting and updating other Supply Chain documents.

• May participate in lean manufacturing initiatives, including process mapping, root cause analysis, and implementation of improvement strategies.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as ability to work in teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms.

Education and Experience:

• College undergraduate pursuing a Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Business, or a similar field.

• Must have completed the first year of the undergraduate program.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

• Knowledge of Microsoft Visio is required.
