About This Position
Overnight Front Desk Agent/Night is responsible for hotel operations during overnight shift hours, focusing on Front Office, night audit and hotel safety/security.
Essential Functions

- Manages front desk operations: Checks-in/checks-out guests
- Monitors room availability
- Accurately manages phone and online reservations
- Answers phone calls using proper telephone etiquette
- Keeps accurate accounts of cash, checks and credit transactions
- Audits, balances, and reports all business transactions of the day
- Responds to guest requests and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintains cleanliness of lobby throughout the night
- Perform security walks on regular basis inside the hotel
- Sets up breakfast for the morning
- Act as Manager on Duty for the hotel in the absence of the General Manager dealing with complaints, problem-solving, disturbances, special requests and any other issues that may arise
- Always maintain a professional and high-quality service-oriented environment
- Has knowledge of emergency procedures and implementation of procedures
Inform General Manager and leave appropriate notes for front desk staff about all overnight activities, group, and VIP arrivals as well as special requests and repeat guests

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Minimum 2-3 Nights/Week
Required Experience
Previous Hotel Front Office experience preferred.
Customer Service experience preferred.
An operational knowledge and proficiency in Front Office Systems and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Proficient in English.
Preferred Education
High school diploma or GED diploma preferred.
