Position Summary
Brookside Country Club is seeking a polished, knowledgeable, and service-driven Fine Dining Server to join our team. This role is responsible for providing an exceptional and memorable dining experience for our members and guests. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for hospitality while maintaining the highest standards of service, presentation, and guest engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, personalized service in accordance with fine dining standards
• Greet members and guests professionally, present menus, and explain daily specials
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings
• Accurately take and input guest orders into the POS system
• Execute proper fine dining service techniques, including coursing, wine service, and table maintenance
• Anticipate guest needs and provide seamless service throughout the dining experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned tables and service stations
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure proper timing and accuracy
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism and discretion
• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous upscale or fine dining service experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage pairings
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a high-end, fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to carry trays and lift up to 30 pounds
• Ability to perform precise and coordinated service movements
