In partnership with the Program Manager Advanced Amphibious Assault (PM AAA), we are seeking a highly skilled ACV Product Support/ Logistics Analyst III to provide expert logistics and sustainment support for Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs.
This role will directly support the Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) Life Cycle Sustainment Planning and Management, working alongside the Government Project Lead and subject matter expert (SME) logisticians to ensure mission readiness and long-term sustainment success.
Job Duties:
- Pull reports and data from Global Combat Support System-Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) and Total Force Structure Management System (TFSMS).
- Conduct analysis of supply and maintenance readiness and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and update logistics acquisition documentation, including Lifecycle Sustainment Plans, Fielding Plans, and Disposal Plans.
- Support Independent Logistics Assessments (ILAs) and draft ILA Reports.
- Assist with property accountability, audit readiness, and equipment fielding activities.
- Coordinates phase-out planning with DLA Disposition Services; updates disposal planning materials, business models, and schedules for divestment and disposal; and maintains financial data for planning and execution of disposal requirements.
- Monitors and maintains configuration control of all key supporting documentation for divestment, phase-out, and disposal.
- Conducts inventories and technical inspections; develops property records, metrics, and transfer materials; and maintains data within authoritative Logistics Records Management Databases and property management control systems.
- Provides procedures for assessing demilitarization and physically demilitarizing or exchanging equipment.
- Recommends equipment for harvesting or reutilization, as well as correct range and quantity (depth) of spares, repair parts, and support and test equipment required to operate and maintain material end items.
- Builds, configures, and coordinates the shipping of modification kits in accordance with program, logistics, and transportation requirements.
- Participates in DMSMS IPTs and coordinates annual updates of DMSMS Management Plans.
Education/Experience:
- 6–8 years of related professional experience with a Bachelor’s Degree
- Advanced Level in DAU Core Certification Standards for Logistics, or its commercial equivalent, is preferred
- SECRET clearance
- Ability to travel is required
- Experience performing Divestment and Disposal in support of an ACAT Level I–III program of record
- Analyze key supply performance indicators, such as readiness posture, excess/obsolete equipment, and equipment sourcing/distribution processes.
