Job Title: Mining Project Manager

Location: Silver Valley, ID

Employment Type: Full-Time

Overview:

We are seeking two experienced Mining Project Managers to support a portfolio of projects at a major underground mining program, focused on sustaining capital, shaft improvement, mine infrastructure, and facility upgrades. The project manager’s role will be to lead the project from concept to successful completion by interfacing and coordinating with engineering partners, contractors, and internal teams to ensure scope, schedule, budget, and safety expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end management of assigned mining projects.
• Drive core project management disciplines: milestones, budgets, scope management, risk mitigation, and reporting.
• Coordinate and manage engineering companies, contractors, and internal technical resources.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
• Build rapport with site teams through strong on-site presence.
• Prepare and deliver progress updates, forecasts, and performance reports.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction management, or other related technical field1
• 10–15 years of project management experience at heavy industrial facilities; mining background and/or underground shaft experience preferred.
• Experience managing multiple site-based mining or industrial capital projects. Must be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, in various stages of implementation.
• Strong stakeholder, contractor, and engineering firm management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, or similar project management tools.
• PMP certification is an asset.

Work Environment & Expectations:

• Primarily site-based with potential rotation flexibility.
• Combination of office and field work, including underground and remote locations.
