Job Overview

CMR Construction & Roofing is seeking an experienced Cold-Formed Steel (CFS) Framing Superintendent to lead and manage all onsite framing operations across commercial and multifamily projects. As a Superintendent, you'll be the boots-on-the-ground leader responsible for field execution—from mobilization to final punch list. This position is ideal for a proactive leader with a strong background in cold-formed steel, field supervision, and safety compliance who can motivate teams, maintain high standards, and deliver top-tier results.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all onsite activities related to cold-formed steel framing from start to close-out
• Supervise and train framing crews and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient work
• Interpret and enforce construction drawings, specifications, and local codes
• Conduct and document daily jobsite safety meetings in compliance with OSHA standards
• Coordinate deliveries, equipment use, inspections, and material staging
• Maintain detailed daily reports, logs, safety forms, and documentation
• Act as the primary field contact for project managers, architects, and engineers
• Identify and resolve field conflicts promptly to keep the project on track
• Oversee project punch list completion and support final close-out

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Superintendent or Foreman in commercial framing
• Expert-level knowledge of cold-formed steel framing systems (walls, joists, trusses)
• Proficient in blueprint reading and construction documentation
• Proven ability to lead field teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
• OSHA 30-Hour Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience with construction management platforms (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) is a plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to travel to project sites for up to 4 weeks at a time
