About the Role

Join a fast-moving smart mobility start-up on a mission to transform transportation with autonomous driving. As a Vehicle Operations Specialist, you’ll help test, refine, and safely operate our autonomous vehicles—directly accelerating the future of self-driving tech.

You’ll spend your days operating test vehicles, monitoring system behavior, and sharing crisp, actionable feedback with engineers. You’ll also represent the company during field operations, engage with the community, and pitch in with hands-on support to keep daily operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do
  • Drive & Monitor: Safely operate autonomous test vehicles ~5–6 hours/day (up to 8 on occasion) while monitoring system behavior and road conditions.

  • Elevate the Tech: Provide clear written and verbal feedback that improves performance, reliability, and safety.

  • Stay Current: Adapt quickly as software updates and procedures evolve—often daily.

  • Be the Face: Professionally engage with bystanders and self-driving enthusiasts during field ops.

  • Support Ops: Wash vehicles, assist with garage upkeep, handle materials, help with logistics (incl. airport/colleague pickups), and other ad-hoc tasks.

You’ll Thrive Here If You Have
  • 2+ years as an AV Safety Driver / Safety Officer (or closely related vehicle testing role).

  • A safety-first mindset, sharp situational awareness, and excellent judgment under dynamic conditions.

  • Outstanding communication skills (fluent in English; additional languages are a plus).

  • A valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record.

  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends or extended hours for demos and special tasks—no concurrent side work during shifts.

  • Travel readiness: >25% international travel (primarily Middle East, with some Europe) to help train new safety drivers and support projects.

Work Schedule
  • Core hours: Monday–Friday, 10am–6pm (approx. 40 hours/week).

  • Driving time: Typically 5–6 hours/day behind the wheel.

  • Flexibility: Weekends and extended hours may be required during demos, trips, or high-priority testing.

  • Travel: Project-dependent; mainly to the Middle East, with some European assignments.

Why You’ll Love It
  • Build the future of mobility with cutting-edge autonomous technology.

  • Join an elite team of entrepreneurs and technologists who value excellence, safety, and collaboration.

  • Make a visible impact—your feedback directly shapes how our vehicles drive.
