Fulfillment Coordinator at GSP Marketing Technologies – madison, Wisconsin
About This Position
Job Summary:
The Coordinator reports to the Fulfillment Manager and is a support to the Fulfillment Department. Coordinators are responsible for the OJR by: managing and maintaining it, entering dates, keeping it updated and ensuring its accuracy. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: tracking “to inventory” jobs, providing overage counts, gathering all paperwork necessary to complete pull, attaching directions to paperwork, providing the daily task sheet, organizing pack slips, maintaining box inventory, req’ing out materials, ordering supplies, collecting past due orders, allocating jobs per department, emailing Account Managers daily, performing small pull jobs, as well as performing clerical duties related to timecards and making corrections. The Coordinator is conscientious that all instructions are understood and offers support in accomplishing them.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Report any material issues or problems to management
- Maintain all safety and cleanliness standards
- Reconcile products and rectify material issues
- Find and fix discrepancies
- Ensure all instructions and priorities of the department are understood
- Gather all paperwork needed for the day (Packing slips, OJR, ship records, ship pending)
- Input data from pull reports
- Print, staple and sort packing slips
- Communicate with Account Managers
- Operate forklifts as needed
- Participate in morning Production meetings
- All other duties as requested, including supporting other departments
Education and Experience:
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of Fulfillment
Qualifications, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Give and take instruction and work with minimal supervision
- Proficient in math such as arithmetic, fractions and percentages
- Able to pass a basic skills test
- Proficient English verbal and written communication skills
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Work scheduled mandatory weekends and overtime
- Safety conscious with ability to perform job functions in a safe manner
- Creative and able to problem-solve issues relating to clients and production
- Project management skills and ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects
- Work well on a team and contribute positively to GSP culture
Physical demands:
- PC/Keyboard: Working on computers, using keyboards and viewing screen
- Standing: Standing for entire assigned shift
- Lifting: Raising or lowering an object from one level to another (Includes upward pulling) of up to 50 lbs
- Carrying: Transporting an object, usually holding it in the hands or arms, or on the shoulder
- Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
- Feeling: Ability to identify texture of material such as if lamination has been applied and being able to distinguish different gauges of material thickness
- Talking: Verbal communication including giving instruction and exchanging information with necessary detail and delivery
- Hearing: Communication including listening to people convey instructions or conversation, and distinguishing noises from machines and within the plant
