Staff Accountant at Soave Enterprises – Detroit, Michigan

What You'll Do

• Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial records, reconciliations, and reporting

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and produce actionable insights

• Contribute to monthly financial closings across a wide array of companies

• Prepare journal entries, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other key reports

• Audit contracts, vouchers, and transactions to ensure integrity and transparency

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives

• Recommend improvements to accounting operations and financial controls

• Support tax preparation and regulatory reporting as needed

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

• 2+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

• Strong understanding of GAAP and practical application

• Proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, and financial systems

• Exceptional analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills

• Clear communication skills—both written and verbal

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-industry environment
