About Us:

Our Behavioral Health Department provides residential, intensive outpatient, and outpatient treatment services for individuals struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders. We also provide mental health counseling services for adults and teenagers who are referred to us from within our provider network.

About the position:

The Mental Health Counselor IV will provide culturally competent mental health services to individuals and families who are experiencing varying levels of difficulties due to life situations or mental health concerns.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in a mental health field.
• Specific alcoholism/drug counseling training with internship period.
• 2 years of Chemical Dependency Treatment experience.
• 2 years of Specialty Mental Health Practice experience.
• Alaska licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Psychologist, or eligibility to obtain licensure upon hire.

Starting pay is $45.79- $52.33 depending on experience. Additional compensation is also available for qualifying weekend and night shifts.
