Gifford’s year-long Nurse Residency Program supports new nurses as they transition from the classroom to the bedside with confidence. With a 12–16 week orientation followed by ongoing support from our Nurse Educators, you will have the opportunity to explore the possibilities of your nursing career in a supportive environment.

As a New Graduate Nurse, you will provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and provider orders. You will actively participate in a team-oriented approach to patient care and communicate in a positive and professional manner. You will also be responsible for educating patients and families clearly and appropriately.

The ideal candidate will have strong time management skills and the flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements:

• Active LPN or RN licensure in the State of Vermont

• BLS certification
