CENTRAL SUPPLY TECHNICIAN CMMC

Job Overview:

Under the direction of the Manager, the Central Supply Technician works and cooperate with Receiving and Distribution staff.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma
• Previous hospital central distribution experience and med/surg supply knowledge
• Computer skills desirable

Preferred:

• College degree

Scheduling Requirements

• Shift: Day
• Time: 7:00am - 3:00pm
• Full Time: 37.5 hrs.
• Must work some weekends/holidays

Essential Functions:

• Distribution of medical and surgical supplies, including Pyxis and non Pyxis stock to all nursing care units.
• Ensures proper rotation of dated inventory and maintains cleanliness of storeroom area.
• Supply CMMC with both sterile and non-sterile products, restock medical/surgical supplies in the Pyxis Supply Stations and performs Pyxis station inventories regularly.
• Distributes equipment such as IV pumps, Flowtron, Gomco, etc., and picks up dirty equipment and instruments. Assembles traction equipment as needed.
• Replenishes storeroom stock daily, and maintains cleanliness of department.
