MAINTENANCE MECHANIC in Danville, Kentucky at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center

The task of this job does not involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, but employment may require performing supplemental tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues. Moderate to heavy physical effort will be required with moving and installation of equipment and furnishings. Normal stress involved with day to day operations. Works throughout hospital in patient and non-patient areas. Will on occasion be working on equipment located in hot and dirty areas. Subject to injury from cuts, burns, strains, electric shock, exposure to high temps. and contamination from different chemicals and wastes. Must be able to move or position 50 lbs. independently. Must be able to pass color blindness test.
