Truck Driver at INACTIVE-Beck Oil Company – Lanse, Michigan

The Truck Driver position is responsible for the loading, unloading, hauling and delivery of fuel and is accountable for maintenance of company equipment.

Primary Duties:

• Keep accurate driving log with required BOL documents
  
• Responsible for general truck/trailer maintenance
  
• Perform routine pre-delivery and post-delivery inspections
  
• Detect faulty operations/equipment and report those to proper supervision
  
• May plan route to insure most economical use of time and equipment
  
• Responsible for proper product delivery in underground storage tanks
  
• Performs other duties as directed
  
• Reports to: Dispatcher

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently reaches, bends, stoops, lifts, carries and pushes
  
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
  
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates under varying weather conditions
  
• Lifts up to 75 lbs
