About This Position

Home Care Aide/Caregiver (8a-5p)

Are you ready for a change in your health care career? Would you like to provide one-on-one care with patients in their homes?
Advanced Home Health Care is looking for a Full Time Home Care Aide that is available 8:00am-5:00pm, during the weekdays and rotating weekends. (Every 4th weekend)

We employ professional, experienced, and dependable team members who are dedicated to providing superior in-home care to the Burlington and Keokuk, Iowa areas, as well as surrounding communities and counties. We are looking for candidates who want to make a positive impact in the daily lives of our clients and their loved ones.
Education:
  • High school graduate or equivalent, desirable.
  • Graduate of an approved 75-hour Aide training program that meets the requirements specified in the Medicare interpretive guidelines and/or has successfully completed a competency evaluation program which includes all subjects listed in the Medicare interpretive guidelines, desirable. (Competencies can be completed on the job)
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work in the client's home under the direction of written and oral instructions from a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • The main duty is to provide personal care and assist the client with transfer and ambulation.
  • Perform household procedures essential to the health and safety of the client such as laundry, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
