Overview

Lutron is seeking a proactive and ambitious Associate Sales Account Manager to help drive our growth across the UK market. You will be based out of London and work closely with electrical contractors and main contractors, leveraging these relationships to generate demand for Lutron solutions and secure projects specified by our wider commercial team. You will play a key role in strengthening our market presence and ensuring Lutron remains the preferred choice for smart lighting and control systems in the UK.


Responsibilities

  • Drive strong demand for Lutron solutions within commercial projects by actively identifying opportunities and influencing key stakeholders.
  • Secure specified projects by partnering closely with electrical and main contractors throughout all tender and preconstruction stages.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Integrator channel to fully surround and support targeted projects, ensuring seamless execution and alignment.
  • Achieve and exceed sales growth targets by executing effective account strategies and continually expanding Lutron’s market footprint.
  • Build and nurture highvalue relationships with a focused portfolio of contractors, becoming their trusted point of contact for lighting controls and shading solutions.
  • Educate contractors and industry partners on Lutron’s full product portfolio, increasing awareness and preference for our solutions.
  • Work crossfunctionally with internal teams to generate timely, accurate documentation and commercial support tailored to contractor needs.
  • Develop robust technical expertise across Lutron’s commercial, residential, and hospitality solutions to provide informed guidance during project discussions.
  • Represent Lutron at relevant trade associations, industry events, and networking opportunities to elevate brand visibility and strengthen market connections.
  • Proactively design and implement new business development strategies that unlock market growth and enhance competitive positioning.
  • Maintain uptodate and accurate account details, pipelines, and activity records within the CRM system (SFDC).
  • Uphold and embody Lutron’s culture, values, and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.


Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in a sales role with a strong track record of building and nurturing B2B customer relationships that drive business growth.
  • Wellestablished network of main contractors and electrical contractors in London, with reach extending across the UK.
  • Genuine passion for sales and a solid understanding of the construction sales cycle, from early engagement to project delivery.
  • Proven ability to manage and influence long sales cycles, following opportunities from initial specification through to completion.
  • Background in controls, building management systems, or related technologies is highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage customers externally and collaborate with colleagues internally.
  • Experience supporting major commercial projects, particularly corporate offices and other largescale spaces within London.
  • Holds a full UK driving license.
  • Motivated team player with a desire to grow professionally and contribute to the success of a dynamic, ambitious organisation.
