Maintenance Technician (Entry-Level)
📍 Roselle, IL
🕒 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Overtime as Needed)
💲 Pay: $20.00 – 24.00 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing facility in Roselle, IL. This role is responsible for assisting with equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and general building maintenance while learning and developing technical maintenance skills in a hands-on environment.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with trade experience, mechanical aptitude, or vocational training looking to grow in a manufacturing maintenance career.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• Support general facility maintenance, including basic plumbing, carpentry, and repairs
• Use hand and power tools, digital voltmeters (DVM), and maintenance equipment
• Identify maintenance issues and report equipment malfunctions
• Follow safety procedures and maintenance best practices

Key Qualifications

• Previous trade-related experience preferred (maintenance, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, automotive, construction, or similar hands-on work)
• Technical school, apprenticeship, or vocational training is a plus
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment repair
• Ability to read and interpret basic manuals, schematics, or work instructions
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 65 lbs
• Ability to walk 4–5 miles per shift
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with exposure to heat, cold, and humidity

Schedule

1st Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM - Overtime, as needed
