This role is centered on supporting commission operations within a fast-paced financial services environment, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of commission statements. You will play a key part in maintaining financial integrity by analyzing transactions, reconciling data, and supporting agents with inquiries in both English and Spanish. The position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy under pressure. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth commission workflows and resolve discrepancies efficiently. - Collect, process, and input commission statements from multiple insurance carriers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
- Analyze commission transactions and reconcile them against bank statements and internal records to ensure financial consistency.
- Manage multiple deadlines to ensure timely and accurate commission payments to agents.
- Respond to agent inquiries in a professional, timely, and courteous manner, including resolving complex or sensitive issues.
- Support ongoing improvements within the commissions department and perform additional administrative tasks as assigned by leadership.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation while ensuring compliance with internal procedures and reporting standards.
- Previous experience in an IMO, financial services, insurance, or carrier environment is considered a strong asset.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken) is required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general comfort with data handling and reporting tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with an investigative mindset.
