Expeditor in Portland, Oregon at Bluestone Hospitality Group

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• As the Expeditor (Expo), you will ensure that when Famous Food leaves the kitchen it has both proper presentation and order accuracy when delivered to our Guests.
• Expedites guest checks to the culinary staff in the kitchen, checks ticket times, garnishes and inspects product. Returns items to wait staff as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Process and expedite guest orders to the culinary team in the kitchen to ensure timely delivery of meals
• Check ticket times and conduct follow-up
• Garnish and inspect products prior to delivery to the guest
• Maintains cleanliness and stock of work area/outlet
• Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous restaurant experience preferred
• Reading, writing, basic math and effective communication skills required
• English language and professional communications skills are required
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays

• Mobility required during the entire shift
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to eight (8) hours in length
