Salary/Pay Rate: $60,000 - $70,000 per year (Salary + Commission) plus Year-End Bonus.
Location: Hybrid (Wadsworth, OH).
Job/Employment Type: Full-Time.
Schedule: Monday - Friday.
Project Scope: Residential and Contractor Bulk Material Sales.
Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: None Required.
You will play a pivotal role in expanding the reach of our in-house supply company, serving as the technical expert for both residential homeowners and professional contractors. This unique hybrid role combines consultative sales with operational oversight, allowing you to influence both the revenue and the inventory management of one of the best facilities in Ohio.
How You Will Make an ImpactExecute targeted sales strategies to solicit and secure new business from regional contractors and commercial accounts.
Educate residential customers on various bulk landscape materials, providing expert recommendations on the best products for their specific projects.
Monitor yard production levels to confirm that teams are producing materials at the necessary pace to meet sales demand.
Manage inventory accuracy by performing regular checks and coordinating with yard staff to maintain optimal stock levels.
Facilitate seamless transactions between the supply yard and field operations to ensure all internal and external orders are fulfilled accurately.
Drive revenue growth by identifying upselling opportunities for complementary materials and bulk landscape supplies.
Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in landscape supply sales or bulk material management.
Deep technical knowledge of various landscape materials and their specific applications in construction and design.
Proven track record of successfully soliciting and maintaining professional contractor accounts.
High School Diploma or GED.
Demonstrated experience in inventory management and overseeing production workflows in a yard environment.
Strong negotiation skills with a history of meeting or exceeding commission-based sales targets.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to pivot between technical contractor sales and simplified residential consulting.
