Retention Bonus: Gexpro Services is offering a retention bonus up to $1,000 paid in two increments following 90 and 180 days of employment.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Responsible for inventory accuracy
  • Perform daily bin audits and cycle counts
  • Review and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Work with the warehouse team to ensure counting procedures are being followed
  • Help the warehouse team resolve any miscounts
  • Address any problems or challenges pertaining to inventory or process
  • Forecasting future inventory requirements
  • Velocity slotting the warehouse to ensure picking productivity
  • Work with AP to resolve receiving discrepancies
  • Create and perform process improvements
  • Help with other warehouse tasks when needed
  • Fill VMI Bins at the customer site within the time contractually obligated
  • Set up new VMI parts and train bins at the customer site
  • Monitor VMI usage and increase bin sizes as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills, Knowledge, and Education Required

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements
  • Able to work overtime and weekends on occasion as needed
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Excel desired
  • Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers to aid in satisfying customer requirements
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations in order to accurately complete job tasks
  • Excellent attendance record preferred

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Language Ability: Ability to write and read routine reports or job orders. Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees within the organization.

Math Ability: Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations required to accurately complete assigned tasks.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Ability to organize and prioritize job projects and requirements.

  • Operate transportation equipment: 3-6 hours
  • Repetitive use of hands/manual dexterity: 6-8 hours
  • Work continuously for 8 hours per day, 5 days a week (with legally required breaks): 6-8 hours
  • Sitting for continuous periods: up to 3 hours
  • Repetitively climbing: 3-6 hours
  • Continuous repetitive kneeling: 3-6 hours
  • Reaching – overhead: up to 3 hours; shoulder: 6-8 hours; below shoulder: up to 3 hours
  • Twisting: 6-8 hours
  • Bending: 6-8 hours
  • Heaviest item required to carry: Electrical Panels & Wire Spools
  • Manual use equipment: Wire measuring equipment
  • Transport equipment: Sit down forklift, Upright forklift, Pallet Jack & Commercial Truck Driving

Exposure to hot and cold temperatures. This position constantly requires expose to extreme weather conditions in a warehouse environment at company branches. This is a high stress and fast paced environment.
