Job Summary:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing the daily warehouse operations ensuring goals and objectives are achieved. This role manages warehouse and distribution functions, oversees staff performance, and collaborates cross-functionally with sales, HR, finance, and logistics to deliver operational excellence ensuring productivity, cost efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction are consistently met.

Operations Management:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping of goods as well as proper inventory management.

• Plan and coordinate the efficient use of warehouse space, labor, and equipment.

• Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely order fulfillment.

• Continuous improvements by developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Measures productivity by analyzing performance, financial, and activity data.

• Coordinates with sales, HR, finance, and logistics to ensure efficient operations.

• Forecast staffing needs to meet business objectives.

• Prepare and manage departmental budgets in collaboration with senior leadership.

• Ensure deliveries and shipments are completed accurately and on schedule.

• Maintains warehouse flow, inventory accuracy, and compliance with safety standards.

• Oversees maintenance of equipment and coordinates needed repairs.

• Implement, monitor and enforce security protocols, safety standards and regulatory compliance

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Team Leadership:

• Hire, train, and develop staff to support operational needs.

• Create schedules, assign tasks, and monitor team performance.

• Foster a positive, safe, and collaborative work environment.

• Conducts timely, constructive performance evaluations.

• Handle employee relations, including discipline and termination, in accordance with company policy and in partnership with HR.

Inventory & Systems:

• Develop, implement and manage inventory control processes to improve operational performance.

• Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) and/or ERP (NetSuite) software to track inventory and optimize workflows

Health, Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

• Lead safety training sessions and enforce safety policies.

• Ensure all employees have the required certification to perform their job

Reporting & Continuous Improvement:

• Prepare reports on warehouse performance, inventory accuracy, and productivity.

• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.

• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to align warehouse operations with company goals.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

• 3–5 years of warehouse or logistics management experience.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP NetSuite and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations.

• Forklift certification.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and move around the warehouse for extended periods.

• Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.

• Ability to push and pull up to 200 lbs.

• Ability to operate manual/electric pallet jacks and forklifts
