Full-Time: A typical work schedule may include days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays based on client needs and staffing requirements. Flexibility is required to meet participant care needs and coverage demands.
Pay Schedule: Weekly
Non-Exempt: Compensation is $25 an hour.
Benefits: Begin the first day after the first two full months of employment

Position Summary
The Personal Care Aide (PCA) provides compassionate, person-centered support to individuals with physical or other support needs. This role assists individuals in maintaining independence, dignity, and quality of life while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Essential Functions
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Support meal preparation, feeding assistance, and medication reminders (as permitted by training and regulations).
- Provide companionship and emotional support while promoting independence and self-advocacy.
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment.
- Accompany individuals to appointments, community activities, and recreational outings as needed.
- Implement individualized service plans and document services accurately and timely.
- Monitor and report changes in behavior, health status, or safety concerns to appropriate supervisors.
- Maintain compliance with all agency policies, HIPAA regulations, and state and federal guidelines.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this position successfully.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and assisting individuals with mobility.
- Ability to lift and transfer individuals safely (with or without assistive devices).
- Ability to push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if transportation is required for the role).
- Ability to pass background screening in accordance with state regulations.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Exchange, Outlook, and MS365.
- Ability to learn and grow with the business as a team player.
