High School Soccer Assistant Coach at Lincoln Leadership Academy Charter School – Allentown, Pennsylvania

Lincoln Leadership Academy Charter School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to serve as an Assistant Coach for our High School Soccer program. The Assistant Coach will work closely with the Head Coach to support player development, implement training sessions, and contribute to the overall success of the team. Must be able to obtain all necessary background checks, including FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse History Clearance, and a physical examination.

Key Responsibilities:

Training and Skill Development:
-Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting effective training sessions focused on skill development, tactical understanding, and physical conditioning.
-Provide individualized instruction and feedback to players to help them improve their performance.

Game Preparation:
-Assist in analyzing opponents and developing game strategies in collaboration with the Head Coach.
-Provide support during games, including sideline coaching and player encouragement.

Player Support and Mentorship:
-Serve as a mentor and positive role model for student-athletes, both on and off the field.
-Provide guidance and support to help players navigate academic and personal challenges.

Team Culture:
-Foster a positive team culture that promotes teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship.
-Encourage a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence among players.

Communication and Collaboration:
-Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other coaches.
-Collaborate with the Head Coach and other staff members to ensure alignment with team goals and objectives.

Qualifications:
-Previous coaching experience in soccer, preferably at the high school level or above.
-Knowledge of soccer rules, strategies, and techniques.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Positive attitude and commitment to the development of student-athletes.
