Referral and Administrative Specialist at Community Concepts – South Paris, Maine
About This Position
We are looking to hire a Referral and Administrative Specialist. This position will be the direct link for families and service providers to learn more about our Customer and Prevention Services Department. This position is based out of our South Paris Office, is 40 hours per week, and generally Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm.
Essential Duties:
- Responsible for referral processing and outreach, which includes downloading referrals, data input, faxing, making phone calls with and without interpreter services, texting, letter writing, etc., as well as maintaining waitlists.
- Assist with all office administrative duties, which may include data processing, accurate filing, maintain supply inventory, ordering supplies, etc.
- Approve and process direct client benefits with program leadership and accounts payable.
- Maintain accurate program data in multiple information/data systems and provide accurate weekly and quarterly reports.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is require
- Office Administrative experience of two years and/or minimum of 12 college credits
- Associate’s degree in human services, early childhood, or related is preferred
Other Requirements: Team-oriented, multi-tasker who enjoys working with people; must have strong verbal and written communication skills; must be personable and support customer service at all times; proficiency with Microsoft Office; Pre-employment SBI, DMV, Maine and National Sex Offender Registry, DHHS, fraud, and federal debarment background checks must be completed upon offer of hire and as a condition of employment; valid driver’s license and travel within the service area is required.
