Senior Control-M Developer (Remote)
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Control-M Developer (Remote). In this role, you will have a significant impact on the management of enterprise-scale batch scheduling and data pipelines. You will design and develop Control-M job flows while ensuring data quality across various platforms. The ideal candidate will be skilled in automation, troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and maintain seamless operations. This is a key position for driving efficiency in data engineering and processing.
Accountabilities- Design, develop, and maintain Control-M job flows for complex batch and data workflows.
- Create and manage job dependencies, calendars, conditions, and alerts.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize batch failures and performance issues.
- Implement job automation, reruns, recovery, and SLA management.
- Collaborate with application, data, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless scheduling.
- Develop and support data pipelines using ETL/ELT tools and scripting.
- Integrate Control-M with data platforms such as Data warehouses and Big data ecosystems.
- Orchestrate workflows involving file transfers, APIs, and cloud storage.
- Schedule and monitor workloads in AWS / Azure / GCP environments.
- Integrate Control-M with cloud-native services.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Control-M Developer / Scheduler.
- Strong experience in Data Engineering or ETL development.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux shell scripting.
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting enterprise batch processing environments.
- Experience with Python, Spark, or Scala is a plus.
- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms is beneficial.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and monitoring tools.
- Control-M certification is a plus.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
