The Sales Analyst will play a central role in driving revenue growth and maximizing commercial performance by transforming sales and distributor data into actionable insights. This position supports sales and finance teams by analyzing pricing, promotions, and trade spend while tracking performance metrics across multiple brands and SKUs. You will create KPI scorecards, perform gap analyses, and generate reports to guide decision-making and optimize sales strategies. The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders, translating complex data into clear recommendations, and supporting adoption of best practices in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. By providing timely, data-driven insights, you will directly impact business growth and operational excellence.
Accountabilities:- Analyze sales and distributor data to identify growth opportunities and optimize revenue across markets and SKUs.
- Create and maintain digital KPI scorecards for distributors and sales teams to monitor performance, shipments, and sell-through.
- Conduct gap analyses at market and SKU levels, providing actionable recommendations to improve distribution and sales velocity.
- Prepare and deliver weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports, including business reviews, brand performance updates, and presentations for clients.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and cross-functional teams to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Monitor data accuracy, track incentives and bonus progress, and support continuous improvement of analytics processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales analytics, business analytics, revenue operations, or related analytical roles.
- Background in alcohol, beverage, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with experience working with large datasets and building reports or models.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas.
- Hands-on experience with industry data platforms such as VIP, IRI, Nielsen, CRM systems, or similar.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commercially minded with strong business acumen.
