Seasonal Beer/Beverage Retail Merchandiser/Stocker at Coastal Beverage Company Inc – Surf City, North Carolina

Schedule: This is a full-time seasonal position working May - approximately September 12th. Days off with vary with the route. Must be available to work any day of the week from 8:00 AM - approximately 5:00 PM (and as needed).

$17.50/hour+ DOE + Mileage reimbursement for business use of your personal vehicle.

As a RETAIL MERCHANDISER, you will be responsible for safely stocking and maintaining our beverage products in our customer accounts. Professional appearance, excellent time management, and outstanding customer service skills required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the sales and delivery departments by servicing and merchandising retail accounts in the best professional manner possible. Responsible for stocking and merchandising various products ensuring that all beverage sections, racks, and displays are completely filled, POS neat, clean and current and displays maintained according to Coastal Beverage Company's standards.

This is a field-based role requiring consistent presence in customer accounts throughout the day during designated standard business hours to ensure customer satisfaction.

Possess the ability to maintain regular and punctual in-person attendance to support merchandising operations and service customer accounts.

All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

2. Possess education equivalent to a high school diploma.

3. Possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.

4. Possess the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

5. Possess basic mathematical skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, use whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Possess the ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.

6. Possess ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

7. Possess computer skills requiring knowledge e-mail software, and Internet.

8. Possess ability to drive, valid driver’s license, and a driving record compliant with company standards.
