Position Summary
The Assistant Project Manager supports the successful delivery of projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for coordination, documentation, and communication across project teams while developing core project management skills and a strong understanding of company processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
Project Support
- Support project execution from handoff through closeout
- Assist with client communication and coordination
- Help develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation
- Track RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Support budget tracking, job costs, and WIP updates
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation
Procurement & Production
- Assist with creating work orders and communicating scope
- Track production and delivery schedules
- Support vendor coordination, RFQs, and procurement activities
- Assist with procurement and production kickoff meetings
- Monitor product progress and communicate status to the project team
Development
- Learn internal systems, workflows, and project processes
- Support PMs and Sr. PMs in day-to-day project responsibilities
- Develop technical, organizational, and communication skills
- Take on increased responsibility as experience grows

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Required Qualifications
• Interest in construction or project management
• Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience
• Basic understanding of construction documents preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
• Office-based with occasional travel to job sites
• Ability to work extended hours as needed
• Prolonged periods sitting and working on a computer
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs occasionally
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Satisfactory reference checks
- Completion of a satisfactory background check
- Passing a pre-employment Drug Screen
