Maintenance Technician at American Communities – Houston, Texas

Are you a reliable, hands-on team player who enjoys variety and takes pride in your work? American Communities is looking for a Maintenance Technician to support daily operations and help keep our apartment community running smoothly.

What You’ll Do:

Assist with apartment turns (make-readies)Perform general maintenance and minor repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances)Support work orders and preventative maintenanceMaintain curb appeal, including grounds care and exterior upkeepWork closely with the maintenance team to ensure resident satisfactionWhat We’re Looking For:

1+ year of general maintenance or make-ready experience (apartment industry preferred)Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairStrong work ethic and team-oriented attitudeAbility to handle physical tasks and work outdoors as neededWillingness to learn and grow into more advanced maintenance skills (HVAC a plus, but not required)Why Join American Communities?
