About This Position

Come join our 5W team! We are a 23-bed medical surgical unit that welcomes new graduates who are motivated to expand their nursing knowledge. We have a wonderful, experienced team of nurses, physicians and support staff that are eager to share their wealth of knowledge. Our unit offers a twelve-week orientation with an experienced preceptor. Experienced nurses are provided an orientation based on their experience and level of comfort. Our nurse patient ratio is 1:5 with support staff available for a strong continuity of care. Come and get started with us!

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of approved vocational nursing program.

Licensed Practical Nurse with current license to practice in the State of Louisiana.

Interpersonal communication skills.
