In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems while contributing to the evolution of architecture, engineering practices, and platform reliability.
- Develop robust, scalable, and secure backend solutions, primarily using Golang.
- Contribute to the evolution of system architecture, proposing long-term improvements and technical strategies.
- Design and maintain high-performance APIs and distributed services.
- Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and definition of engineering best practices.
- Build and improve processes, automation, and engineering standards across teams.
- Investigate complex production issues and propose effective, scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and other teams to deliver high-impact features.
- Ensure system quality through testing, documentation, and performance optimization.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, observability, and modern DevOps practices.
- Promote a strong engineering culture focused on scalability, reliability, and continuous improvement.
This position requires strong backend engineering experience, particularly in Golang, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong experience in backend development, preferably with Go (Golang) or willingness to quickly adopt it.
- Solid knowledge of AWS and cloud-based scalable architectures.
- Experience with Kubernetes, API gateways, and observability tools.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and messaging (Kafka, SQS or similar).
- Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including performance tuning and data modeling.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerized environments.
- Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and API security best practices.
- Strong understanding of system design principles, scalability, and high availability.
- Experience applying clean code principles (SOLID, KISS, DRY) and design patterns.
- Proficiency with Git and structured development workflows.
- Strong analytical mindset, curiosity, and ability to solve complex technical problems.
- Experience with CI/CD, caching strategies, logging, and monitoring.
- Interest in high-scale or mission-critical systems is a plus.
