Job Type: Direct Hire
Pay: $32–$38/hour

Position Summary

We are hiring an experienced Field Supervisor to oversee installation crews working on stairs, railings, and other miscellaneous metal projects. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day job site operations, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and maintaining strict safety standards on active construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct a crew performing installation of stairs, railings, and custom metal components
  • Coordinate daily job site activities alongside the General Contractor and other trades
  • Interpret construction drawings and ensure accurate layout and installation
  • Plan and organize manpower, materials, and equipment to keep projects running efficiently
  • Confirm all crew members meet certification requirements and follow site safety rules
  • Complete daily reports, including field updates and vehicle inspections
  • Oversee proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and company vehicles
  • Act as the primary safety lead on site, ensuring compliance with PPE requirements and project-specific safety plans
  • Conduct and document toolbox talks and reinforce safe work practices
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience working with miscellaneous metals (preferred)
  • Prior leadership experience as a Foreman or Supervisor is strongly preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand safety documentation
  • Strong math skills, including working with measurements, angles, and degrees
  • Familiarity with AWS D1.1 standards and common welding methods (SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW)
  • Current welding certifications or ability to successfully complete a weld test
