This role focuses on creating and maintaining high-performing, responsive, and accessible digital experiences within a WordPress-based ecosystem. You will play a key part in translating UX and design concepts into clean, scalable front-end code that supports engagement, usability, and conversion goals. Working in a collaborative digital environment, you will ensure consistency across pages, optimize performance across devices, and contribute to a seamless user experience. The role also involves close alignment with UX, content, and analytics teams to ensure technical execution supports broader digital strategy. You will be responsible for maintaining reusable components and improving front-end architecture to support scalability. - Develop, maintain, and enhance WordPress pages, templates, and reusable components to ensure scalable and maintainable web experiences.
- Translate UX designs and requirements into responsive, high-quality front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ensure consistency, performance, and scalability across all digital pages by following established design systems and coding standards.
- Optimize website performance, including page speed, load times, and cross-device/browser compatibility.
- Support implementation of analytics tracking, tagging, and data layer requirements to enable accurate reporting and performance measurement.
- Manage and update content and page structures within the CMS, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and ease of maintenance.
- Conduct front-end testing and QA to validate functionality, responsiveness, accessibility, and tracking accuracy before release.
- Collaborate closely with UX, design, content, and development teams to deliver cohesive digital experiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
- 4–7 years of experience in front-end or web development.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for building responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with WordPress, including theme customization, page builders, and CMS content management.
- Proven ability to build mobile-first, responsive websites that perform consistently across devices and browsers.
- Understanding of web performance optimization and SEO best practices.
- Familiarity with analytics concepts such as GA4, tagging, and data layers.
- Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and stakeholders.
